Playing small is something I recognize in many women. Most of the time there is this part of us that tells us we are not good enough, we don’t know enough yet, we look terrible in that dress… Welcome inner critic.

I know this voice, this part of me that wants me to be safe, all to well. It kept me small for so many years and she still is shouting in my ear from time to time. What I find important to let you know about this part of yourself is that you don’t have to listen to this voice. You have a choice.

Don’t fight this part of you, but recognize it, name it, and choose not to listen to it. Instead your inner wisdom will have the change to let herself be known. The best guide you will ever meet.
